Child Safety Standards
Urbfind has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to everyone who uses the Urbfind app and website.
What is prohibited
Users and stores may not post, share, request or promote any content that sexually exploits or endangers children. This includes child sexual abuse material, sexualized images or descriptions of minors, grooming or attempts to contact minors for sexual purposes, sextortion, and trafficking. Violations result in immediate removal of the content and permanent termination of the account.
Age requirement
Urbfind is intended for adults. Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and delete the associated information.
How to report
- In the app: open the post or store profile, tap the menu (⋯), choose Report and select the reason that best fits, such as "Nudity or sexual content" or "Promoting illegal or restricted items".
- By email: write to hello@urbfind.com with the subject "Child safety" and include a link to or description of the content. Child safety reports are prioritized over all other requests.
How we respond
We review every child safety report as quickly as possible. Content that violates these standards is removed, the responsible account is permanently banned, and relevant information is preserved for law enforcement. We do not notify the reported account before acting where doing so could put a child at risk.
Reporting to authorities
Urbfind complies with all applicable child safety laws. When we become aware of child sexual abuse material or a child at risk, we report it to the appropriate authorities and law enforcement agencies, as required by law.
Child safety contact
Our designated child safety contact can be reached at hello@urbfind.com and is available to discuss our CSAM prevention practices and compliance.
